Seminar Title: Homelift assessment and application
Speaker: Gino Farruggio, Stiltz Homelifts
Recent insight from the Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) demonstrates a significant increase in safety issues within the home due to Covid lockdowns. Data shows that falls have quadrupled and issues with general mobility have tripled. These factors are significant in terms of increasing pressure on the NHS and social care as individuals recover from injury or struggle with regaining confidence. The Stiltz seminar will explore how the prescription of a suitable homelift can reduce these challenges and enhance reablement programmes with a view to sustaining community living for longer.
On stand 5, Stiltz product advisors will be complementing the seminar with educational material beneficial to healthcare professionals. This will include guides to DFG applications, client case studies and details on the Stiltz healthcare website. CPD certificates and reflective logs will be available for all Stiltz seminar attendees along with the opportunity to discuss individual client needs on a one-to-one basis.
